HCM Day 2

Another sultry Saigon day. We visited the massive Independence Palace, the beautiful central post office, various parks, and managed to rack up nearly 20,000 steps in 36 degrees of heat. Rounded the day off with a dip in the rooftop hot tub, a cheap dinner in a nearby cafe (£6 for two mains and three beers) and a late night stroll to take in the evening lights and sights.

Off to Phu Quoc island tomorrow for a couple of days' serious R&R.
