Abstract and grain

Many thanks to Ingeborg for hosting this week’s Abstract Thursday.
A cultural evening is in store. Off to the Welsh National Opera for the second time in a week. Tonight is Benjamin Britten’s last opera: “Death in Venice”. We’ve never seen this opera so we’re really looking forward. It won’t be particularly tuneful in the classic operatic aria style but it will be dramatic both on stage and in the orchestral music.
