Friday bottom #48

This is Jason and his golden fleece. The full version is here.

No-one knows who carved it (or who took a bit off) but it stood in the garden of the Palazzo Stiozzi-Ridolfi in Florence around 1550-1600. I reckon the butt looks well clenched.

On a little side note...I wonder whether I should stop at 50?
