Spring Everywhere

During my week in the Alps, Spring has most definitely sprung here. Flowers and blossom are everywhere, in the gardens and orchards. 

Chaiyya was supposed to get her rabies vaccination today, but wasn’t having any of this vet nonsense. When I picked her up to put her in the carrier box, she morphed into a furry octopus, spreading out so much I couldn’t get her in. While I tried to wrestle her in the right position, she howled, scratched, and squirmed so much that I couldn’t hold her. Two seconds later, she was upstairs under the bed, in the most inaccessible corner.

P was in a meeting, so he could not help me. In the end, I phoned the vet and made a new appointment for Monday, when P has a day off.
