A great day with the young man on his first birthday. Out for brunch where he worked his way through pancakes and blueberries and banana.

He the went off to nursery and later came round for birthday tea. He’d developed a temperature in the afternoon - too many pancakes? - and while a bit flushed managed to enjoy his tea and home made chocolate cake. And get into a good mess at the time.

Fired up with energy he did multiple circles of the cottage with his walker.

His parents then took him home and managed to get him transferred asleep from the car to his bed. A full and very enjoyable day.
