Ullswater

Taken from near the landing stage at Howtown in between the showers. Me and A are away for a few days in the Lake District and Yorkshire dales.
Had a bonus today, a big tax refund, thank you HMRC, unexpected but very welcome.

On the down side though, just to keep the ying and yang, I won a lens for my camera on Ebay but the person I bought it from sent it uninsured and with a tin pot courier ! It's been four days now and no lens.

Hopefully tomorrow the weather will be better, we have a trip on Ullswater planned, I've bought an all day ticket we have a walk planned and we're staying at a lovely country house hotel tomorrow, sounds a bit posh for us.

The place we're staying at tonight is a bit strict, we have to be back by 2300 or we're locked out ! Plus we have to be out by 1000 tomorrow, needless to say we didn't eat there tonight, oh and there's no wifi either, it's a bit of a backwards step, I mean who wouldn't have wifi in a nice hotel ?

Any how fingers crossed that we make it back before we turn into pumpkins and have to sleep in the car.
