Epsom Well

Had a little drive out today and went to find the Epsom Well. This is the original well on Epsom Common from where, back in the 1600s, the spa water containing the therapeutic minerals was first drawn. Epsom was apparently the first spa town in England. 
Epsom Salts were widely used although I'm not sure they're still produced.
The extra shows how the council have placed information plaques at the site, which is now in the middle of a housing estate.
