Room with a view....

....the coastline looked spectacular driving south of Kaikoura today, gorgeous blue pacific ocean, loads of sun, brisk breeze. A bakery lunch was savored by the sea as the weather changed. Mountains disappeared behind thick grey clouds, ocean became soft turquoise as the sun disappeared and it turn wintry cold. Kaikoura was busy, cafes buzzing, accommodation had 'no vacancy' signs out, we were fortunate to get our room with a view. Looking forward to exploring tomorrow when the weather is forecasted to be better.
