Horsey day. I hacked on Bud after a hay delivery. Lovely ride and the sun even came out. Eva had a PC Arena Eventing rally at Aylesford this afternoon. Her confidence has taken a bit of a knocking recently and she was really nervous. Really needed it to go well today but he got the zoomies again after a double and then stopped dead at the edge of the arena and she popped off his shoulder. She managed to bite her tongue and get a nose bleed :0( Not good.

She did get back on but was really upset. She did the water and a little ditch then finished off with a little cross pole a couple of times. He was just on one today and really strong. Just had to try and talk her round again that he's a living beast with thoughts and feelings and his own agenda and that's why the highs are high and the lows are low. Was a really disappointing end to the day and I ended up wishing we hadn't gone. Now we've got an uphill battle building up her confidence again. It's not easy :0(  

Think today has been one of the most challenging with the house as well. The screed still hasn't gone off so we're confined to one room downstairs. Eddie and Rosie gave us the keys to their house as they were out for the day so I took 2 days worth of washing up down in the wheelbarrow to do!! We can't even wash up in the bath as we don't have one anymore!! Mike has finished the grouting now so at least we'll be able to use our shower tomorrow evening!
