Eva took some persuading to go to the yard today but I got her there in the end. We had PC musical ride training at 1 so there wasn't really time to turn him out and deal with all the mud etc before going. So I twisted her arm to come out on a hack with me and Lime. The wet weather didn't help! But I'm trying to give Lime exercise as it helps with his arthritis. Eva got really cold and wet so I had to sit her in my car with the blowers on to warm up whilst I raced about putting Lime away, soaking hay for Jack and loading up the lorry. But we made it! And so glad we went as it cheered Eva up no end. They are getting ready for a couple of displays they are doing in the summer so working on the routine for that. It's very impressive.

Out for dinner this evening with BG and The Gov. They have spent the day tidying up the electric cables in the old kitchen ready for the plasterers next week. Was very nice not to have to cook in our non existent kitchen!! Although it was a struggle to chat as there was a very loud singer in the restaurant who it's fair to say didn't have the most brilliant voice!! 

The house feels much easier to live in now we can walk on the screed and have got things like a sink, washing machine, dishwasher again- all the things we take for granted. I think we are definitely over the worst now.
