Magnificent Magnolia

The first bud has fully blossomed on my little Magnolia tree.  There are numerous buds are swelling and getting ready to bloom, but only one has fully opened.  This same blossom in its  bud stage was the featured blip on March 1. Magnolias all over town are blooming and our neighbor has a truly  magnificent magnolia -- it is about 30 feet high (as high as their 2nd story roof).  Their tree  all  burst into full blossom all at once, whereas my little one is taking it one bud at a time.
