South Island

We took the Interislander ferry and then the coastal pacific train to Christchurch. Half a day of scenery versus an hour in the air. But what a journey! Especially the sail which was in some parts reminiscent of Scottish sea lochs. And Scottish wind! Wouldn’t fancy the crossing on a stormy day.
