An wander into the Botanic Gardens and round the Cathedral Quarter this morning then test match cricket in the afternoon. New Zealand were expected to win on day 4, there were only 5 wickets remaining and a decent lead but the Aussies pulled it back. My first test match and an enjoyable way to spend a sunny afternoon. Impressed at everyone being let into the pitch (not the wicket) at lunchtime. Loads of kids and several groups of adults throwing and batting themselves happy.
