Spring Forward

Before bed last night we pushed our clocks forward an hour. The one in the car will have to wait for another day. Losing that hour is tough on the working folk but us retired folk can linger in bed for as many days necessary until our internal clocks have adjusted. Lucky Us! I am looking forward to it being light later in the evening • It poured all night and morning but it’s finally clearing out at 3pm. This lone nuthatch was soaked, as were all the goldfinches seeking seeds. No surprise the river and creeks flooded their banks. There are puddles everywhere on our lawn and driveway, and parts of the garden washed out into the grass. A big mess to clean up one dry day soon • Our daffodils have popped through the soil :)) • Peace & Love
