Reading the wind (Day 3226)

After the morning shopping trip I spent a while doing not very much except hope for an improvement in the weather. Late morning, with no sign of an imminent improvement, my beautiful wife headed to Stromness and the horses. It was very cold again and not a day for hanging around in the field. Nice to see the horses though.
Back home I got Sigyn out a wander at Lyde and finally managed to warm up just as I got back to the truck.
Home for lunch, then a bit later we took Sigyn to see Dad in hospital. One way to get all of the nursing staff into a patient's room is to take a wolf dog in with you. Dad was pleased to see us and Sigyn, and broke all the rules by feeding her the remains of his pudding straight out of the bowl.
