All you can eat
Several inches of snow fell overnight and throughout the day, as it should this time of year... none of this mid-70 degree weather like last week and this week coming up.
This being maple syrup country, there are pancake breakfasts all over the county every Sunday in March and April. Today we tried West Geauga Kiwanis Club at the WG high school. They offered buttermilk, buckwheat, blueberry, and chocolate chip pancakes, pork sausage patties, coffee, tea, orange juice, white and chocolate milk. Much tastier than last year's in Bainbridge. All you can eat for adults $10, children $5, and under age 5 free. The proceeds go to help children and the community. The cafeteria was packed.
We tooled around the rolling countryside looking at possible spots from which to view the upcoming eclipse. We turned back as the roads got icier and my phone sent warnings about the winter squalls we were driving through. My fun was spoiled, but we got home safely.
