A lot to celebrate today: one birthday, two new jobs, Mothering Sunday (three mothers and a step-mother present) and simply getting together en famille. I prepared far, far too much food, including the frangipane tart I last made over three years ago.
I knew that my brother and the nephew present would be intrigued by the geometry of it and that Tivoli would enjoy cutting it. Just look at those embroiderer's fingers!
