After Tivoli and our mum arrived last night, it's all been a bit full on: bed-making, cooking, chatting, garden-inspecting, tidying, not-cleaning. I'm in the middle of a several-day-long WhatsApp fest with Firstborn who is helping me prepare for a challenging meeting later this week while I help him negotiate a possible job-change.

I abandoned everyone to go to a choir rehearsal then Tivoli abandoned us to visit the uncle.

We contemplated trying out one of the newly opened restaurants on Cowley Road (replacing the newly failed ones) but decided it was easier just to stay in (thereby contributing to the next round of failures).
