Getting better!

Quite a while ago I went on a Lichen day with Into the Hills  (of this parish as they say).  During the day he showed how he took macro photos of the Lichens through his hand lens using the phone.  Until recently I had no success with the technique, then I changed hand lenses and things became a little better.  I have been practicing and now feel I am getting there.  I can now take a shot without needing a third hand.

Note some people call a hand lens a loupe, to me a loupe is the tubular thing I used to hold in my eye socket when we had the Jewellers.
