Sodom
MONDAY
It was a dull but dry day and I headed out this afternoon on an 8 km walk. From home I walked to the top of Y Graig nature reserve, then found a new footpath which joined the road to the hamlet of Sodom. Here there is a good view of the Moel Y Gaer Iron Age Hill Fort near Boidfari (as can be seen in the photo). At just 200 m elevation, it's one of the lower hill forts on the Clwydian Range. I then climbed up to the top of Cefn Du (258m) following a short section of the Offa's Dyke path, before heading back down across the fields to Tremeirchion.
