Mobile Slipway

I did a few jobs outside this morning and then headed over to Rhyl for a walk on the seafront and a stop off at a couple of tile showrooms in an attempt to select wall tiles for the kitchen. There's just too much choice!

Both of the vessels at Rhyl Lifeboat Station were out at sea. I was hoping to get a photo of them coming back to shore but, after tracking them on the Marine Traffic App neither of the boats showed any sign of returning. 

Both of the lifeboat launchers were out on the seafront so I had to make do with a photo of this quite amazing SLARS - Shannon Launch and Recovery System vehicle which provides a mobile platform, turntable, and hydraulically raised slipway for the ocean-going boat.

I have previously blipped the smaller tractor for the inshore vessel.
