Susan's latest work - Memories and Dreams

Memories and Dreams now hangs on our wall and illustrates our collective memories and our dreams for the future. I'll leave you to work out which is which!

A wet, dull sort of day today. Took Susan's bike to the "bicycle repair man" for a service and new tyre then came back and wrestled with signalbox questions. Went to the allotment to hoe and thin, but was beaten back by the rain.

Collected her bike, got stuck in a jam on the way back, had a snooze and then struggled at the gym. Felt very lethargic and under the weather, unusual for me. The day got better after that though - the frustrations of weather and traffic receeded into the past as we enjoyed a great supper and pleasant, relaxing evening inspired by the wild scenery and very special Wakhan people who are shepherds in the Big Pamir in Afghanistan
