What is this?

Sitting down having a relaxing 10 minutes in a busy day Susan spotted this wasp like insect on the window in the conservatory. Not seen anything like it before so we had to take a shot and see if we could identify it. No luck so far. Any ideas out there? It is so remarkable don't you think, the complexity and the exquisite detail on such a small beastie.

It was another busy day, erecting a support for the raspberries in the garden. The furious gales of last weekend had snapped one of the poles and all the summer raspberries were drooping over and threatening to break. We had 2 large poles at the allotment and some wire left we hadn't used so managed to build a more substantial structure this time.

Went to the allotment also to pick the first beans and peas for tonight's dinner and gather some strawberries for afters. Coming along now, but still well behind.
