Muscari
We only went away for a weekend, but it’s amazing how much there was to do on our return! Apart from the usual washing and retrospective photo editing, I had to mend the pocket of the coat I had worn because it developed a hole, and also had to re-attach a tag pull on one of the zips on Smithers’ suitcase which fell off before we went.
The afternoon was then spent baking, so by now I’m pretty whacked. A quick tour round the dripping wet garden produced this photo of the massed muscari bulbs behind the back path, the planting of which was intended to give the impression of a little bluebell wood, albeit somewhat earlier in the season than the genuine article.
