Coombe Mill

This super building is hidden away in one of the smaller valleys joining Borrowdale.  I only knew of it when camera club friends mentioned it although it is a popular subject to photo.  The first time I went there was during the summer and leaves obscured the building; I returned in late autumn and got a better view, so this is my third attempt.  I was told it was harder to get closer to the mill as a fence (with barbed wire) has been erected, another reason to go when I did.  Somebody had put a plastic sheet across the wire, but I chose not to climb over!  There is some building work going on and to the left, but chose not to photograph blocks, black bags etc..
