Sea Duck

For at least half an hour this morning we watched this lone male common merganser diving for fish. We get a kick out of seeing them disappear under the surface then suddenly reappear several yards away. It’s astonishing how far they travel! I must google for a video to find out what they look like underwater :) • After enjoying breakfast at the diner we drove over to DMV for MrsP to renew her license. An eye test and $40 later she was told her updated license would arrive in the mail in 3-4 weeks. I’ll be doing the same in December • Soon we’ll be heading out to the pub for an early dinner, aka a pre-St Patrick’s Day celebratory meal. We’re looking forward to wearing the green this coming Sunday :) • Peace & Love
