Squatters

Last Summer an Osprey spent a considerable amount of time at Leighton Moss. In the hope and expectation that when it returns from southern climes it will decide that the reserve is a des res in which to raise a family the RSPB has built a tall platform with a partially constructed nest. I think the nest must be glued together for otherwise those winter storms would have swept it away. The wooden beam going up at the right hand side has a camera attached for transmitting pictures.
Fingers crossed.
In the meantime those pesky Gulls are squatting.
