Sober newt

At last the sun shone and it was warm! Susan took advantage of the favourable break in the weather to sort out the pond much to the annoyance of the newts whose were living quite contentedly in the murk at the bottom of the pond.

I had an excellent run, retracing a route up onto the North Downs and along the Pilgrims Way haven’t done for a good few years. Wow!

We both went to be with Doreen for some time this morning. She is comfortable and being well looked after.
