Alder Sparrowhawk

I spotted this sparrowhawk as it dropped into an alder overhanging the water of Seventy Acres Lake. It was difficult to get a reasonable shot through the twigs and catkins. It didn't help that it had its back to me and there was a stiff breeze. A thrill to see it though.
