La bergerie

The weather was so beautiful this afternoon that it would have been a crime not to go out for a walk after lunch. We decided to go up to the bergerie on the off chance A might be there. He wasn't (and nor were the woolly ladies), but we sat on the terrace (blip) to recover from the climb and admire the view. It's such a perfect spot.

It was as hot as a summer day when we set off back home, choosing a slightly longer route via the lake, mostly in full sun. We hadn't bothered taking any water with us, and I wished we had as I got hot, tired, and dehydrated. Back home I glugged lots of water and felt better.
