Spring, sprung

Another beautiful day, defying the weather forecast once more. I made an industrial quantity of chilli con carne for lunch, and then we went for a much shorter walk than yesterday, our standard circuit. Some of the vines are showing tight little buds and a few tiny leaves are emerging from dead-looking wood.

It does cool down once the sun drops low though -- S has just lit the fire. We still have enough wood for a couple of evenings' warmth!
