Orchid

Like most of my plants, the rescued orchid has been kicking around in various parts of the house, mainly being ignored. I did water it assiduously when first adopted. This attention tailed off somewhat and it grew plenty of shiny leaves but, as you'll remember, I haven't been home very much this year and it has been left to its own devices for weeks.

But lo! there have appeared three big, fat buds. I was afraid that, like the two amaryllis (and the broken bud) might just flower when I am next down south but see! they are already opening, in perfect time for Flower Friday. Thanks to BikerBear for continuing to host the challenge.
