A cold morning with frost on the cars and roofs when I first looked out. Still chilly (4°C) when I set off to Bowness for a blip before driving up to Windermere. Into WHSmith for a birthday card and magazine. Cards were pricey and the shop had neither of the two magazines I was interested in. Then to Booths where I came out with a lot more than I went in for.

I intended to do some gardening in the afternoon but got so cold in the morning decided I’d prefer to stay in and keep warm.

The alternative blip (it was hard to choose between the two) is in extras.
