NOT ENOUGH CHOCOLATE!
Hello lovely Blippers,
In our honest opinion, not that many people around here, take much notice of that, we think that Mrs HCB hasn’t been eating enough chocolate, which is why she fell in the shower!
In fact, we heard a shout, and before we could get up the stairs, Mr HCB had beaten us to it. By the time we got to the bathroom door he was already dialling 999 because he was obviously very concerned about Mrs HCB.
Fortunately, the paramedics arrived after a couple of hours, but Mrs HCB was back in bed by then, and we swear we heard her say “Please give me some chocolate!” We would’ve done just that except we didn’t know if we could climb the steps to get the chocolate from the very high shelf, so today we whispered to Mr HCB that he should get the chocolate down and drip feed it to Mrs HCB. However, we thought a photograph of that might be a little too revealing, so decided just to have a photograph of us with the spare chocolates and there are plenty of them.
Looking at the photograph afterwards we realise that it’s a good job. Mrs HCB isn’t an alcoholic because there’s plenty of stuff on the shelf behind as you can probably see.
Lots of tests and a CAT scan were done on Mrs HCB, and the good news is that chocolate has not damaged her brain in anyway so we think now that she should begin to eat the chocolates and enjoy them and I’m sure you will all agree with us, as silly as that might sound. We know that dear Admirer wouldn’t like to think that Mrs HCB has had a fall, but we do think she would agree with us that chocolates are there to be eaten, not stored on a high shelf! Mrs HCB has a bump on her head, which was probably caused when she fell, so she says she has cancelled her eye appointment for Monday and will now go at the end of the month.
Take care, and remember BE KIND - after yesterday‘s incident we realise even more that that is so necessary in this world. Mr and Mrs HCB are very grateful to the ambulance staff and also to everyone at the hospital for their kindness and consideration. We are so blessed to have such a great NHS that comes into its own in an emergency!
We are sure that Mr & Mrs HCB will be back to their normal selves very soon - we hope so anyway.
Love to you all

PS Mrs HCB apologises in advance that as she is so tired, comments will be very sparse for a while. xx
