A Good Day

Madrid basked in warm sunshine today and after some desk work in our hostal, we walked though the centre of the city to the marvellous Calle de la Libertad, and a concert at number 8 at 1.30 pm by an up and coming young singer-songwriter called Angel Lucas. We had an aperitif in El Cisne Azul (which specialises in mushrooms) before and lunch after near el Mercado de la Paz, in Carmenbar.

Somewhat amazingly we had dinner with my long term globetrotting Israel coachee, Dror - we discovered through a casual what’s app exchange on another matter that we were both in Madrid and he invited us for dinner in the Puente De Vallecas area of the city where two of his many hotels are located. He had his high school buddy with him, Yuval, and dinner at La Cerveceria in Calle Monte Persudo, 61 was truly excellent.
