A little small talk
A nice walk
A good lunch
2 hours of arguing over the little things.

So damn hard to reason with someone who doesn’t remember much, wants her previous life back, can’t understand why she can’t drive a car, why she can’t live on her own (my sister and I can be charged with negligence if we left her on her own) why she can’t walk, why, why, why…

I ended up walking out as every thing I tried didn’t work. Even her caregiver was struggling to calm her down.

So I will remember the positive today despite the heart hurting that I couldn’t do more.
