Land Rover

This is one of Little Man's favourite cars. It's a Land Rover, gifted to him by his Uncle Caleb when we first arrived in the Netherlands last year. Little Man loves his cars and my brother Caleb is a huge fan of Land Rovers. He owns one in Uganda and is already introducing Little Man to them.

We met up with Caleb this afternoon with the idea of going to a second hand shop in a nearby village. So we went round to his place to get him, squeezed into my parents' Mazda and off we went. We arrived to discover that the second hand shop was closed, so we returned to Oudewater. Caleb's car is in the garage so he went round, a few times over the course of the evening, to check on its progress. We went out for dinner, to celebrate my dad's birthday. He was in Uganda when he had his birthday, so we wanted to celebrate when he and my mum got back.

Little Man was an absolute angel in the restaurant. He sat in his highchair, happily playing for over an hour as we waited for our food, then eating. He's changed so much since we moved to the Netherlands.
