Abdul and Abdulele

These two brothers have featured in our blips before and so it's great to have them on again today! We met them on our walk round Zamalek. We had a quiet morning in the flat in Dokki, trying to get a feel for the atmosphere in Cairo in the lead up to tomorrow. We decided it was ok to take a taxi to Zamalek for a wander round our old haunts. Early evening though, we decided we'd feel happier being back near the flat in Dokki, not for any real reason other than it's good to know we don't have to rely on a taxi to get us back home. As I write this from the little terrace of a hotel near our flat, I can see news reports coming in of massive demonstrations in different towns around Egypt. Let's hope that tomorrow brings change, but peacefully.
