Making Whoopee

Catching my eye as I walked past the pond there was something small zooming round in a very excited way.

Dropping and lying flat on the terrace it appeared two pond skaters were making whoopee enjoying the sunshine, legs the air in gay abandon.

The male is the furthest away and they were on their sides so not a view at any point you would ever expect to get of pond skaters usually. They were ok till they saw the lens then submerged looking for all intents and purposes like a bit of dead reed.
