Avocet Warning

'Clear orf!' was the warning and chase from behind with the breeding season starting to kick in big time on The Rushy at Slimbridge WWT. 

I've been in somewhat of a quandary  as to which crop to post. I've only started being aware of very hard cropping on pictures lately and been aware that (what ever picture - usually animals and birds) the artist has cut of it's head, foot, wing or something but it appears to be the new trend. 

In consequence of this I've done a before in the Extra. It is still a crop btw.

I had a head on with an oystercatcher and a gadwall plus saw the courting behaviour of the black-headed gulls as he fed her food. Lots going on now we are hitting spring.
