Messing about in boats!

It has been a long day today! Little Miss Izzy aged 2 decided it was time the day started at 3.30 am! ;-/

This was taken at about 4pm today and the wavepiercer is in discharging passengers!
This blip shows the Inter-Island quay and the liner quay where liner passengers come ashore from the the Liner's liberty boats.
Often a very busy place but no liners in today so it was fairly peaceful!
In the distance you can see the local boat waiting pontoon with lots of sailing boats vying for berths.
They have just completed the annual Jersey/Guernsey race called the Carey Olsen Inter Island Yacht Race.
This race happens annually alternately Guernsey/Jersey then Jersey/Guernsey the following year.
Great fun, very competitive and sociable...No1 son was sailing as usual and they came 6 out of 86 boats, not bad but I think they may have been a tiny bit disappointed!
