New kitten enclosure
Eva was again awake by 5.15 am, nappy changed, fed, cuddles, and back asleep til 9am. Isn't it funny how babies seem to follow pretty much the exact same timings on days in a row? I think it's pretty amazing.
Mike was up and out up B & Q this morning to buy some bits to make a safe enclosure for the kittens, as one had escaped the box this morning, so it's time for them to have their own safe little area. Today's pic shows what Mike made. It's so good. Perspex sides all in there own frames so it's easily cleanable and sturdy, all hinged in sections so its easily storable and you can make it any shape you want. It even has a little doorway with a hook and eye so you can walk in and out without having to try and climb over, I'm well impressed. He spent nearly all day on it aswell. Plus he made me a cat litter sifter as its taking aaaages to sift the new wood pellets I've started using, so what he's made me I can just sit on top of the bin, pour the whole contents of the litter tray in, and sift it in about 2 minutes. He's so clever and so thoughtful <3. Just waiting for the Zooplus order of the new mini kitten scratch posts and toys and the kittens will be all set.
Went and got my eyebrows and hair done today too whilst Mike multi tasked and looked after Eva so was good to feel a bit pampered, even if I did miss Eva and couldn't wait to get home to her after.
Nanny Nash came round aswell today and it was really lovely having a catch up and for her to see Eva. Eva had lots of smiles for her Nanny. And Pauline was a star even hanging out the washing for me :-)
Eva was shattered and in bed by about 7.15 tonight bless her. Oh how I absolutely love and adore that beautiful baby girl xxxxxxx
