hold onto lots of snow but slopes facing the sun are melting rapidly. A friend is running a snow holing course next week and is concerned about lack of snow, but he should still find enough. A lovely sunny day again. The woods are full of birdsong and the pastures and moors have all the waders calling. Spring!
