A glorious morning….

so set off for the toad pond, finding it frozen after a hard overnight frost! A pair of Mallard were preening in the reeds. Carried on higher up into the woods for a better view of the Cairngorms. The Woodpeckers were drumming, a Mistle Thrush singing and all the small birds gathering nesting material, singing and feeding. Sunshine all day was a treat. Temperatures still 8° Outside all day!
