Miami Metro Zoo is pretty good as Zoos go...

A nice balance between the animals being visible to the public and having huge amounts of space in their enclosures.

This guy was the star of the show for me... he was only a few yards away and was HUGE!... I can see how it was easy to dream up King Kong stories.

It also belted down with rain... but rain is a very different thing in Florida than in Scotland.
