'Merica celebrated today... and so did we in our own Scottish low key way.

When you're 6, a sparkler in your hand can be just as captivating as a firework display a mile away.

The volume of fireworks being let off is something to behold!... We live in the suburbs and it feels like every house has declared war on the neighborhood.
