Granny duty...

Was doing a bit of this today... Her first time out on a scooter... She is a wee delight, makes me laugh so much, but by the end of a 12 hour shift with her, I was happy to say bye bye till granny grabs a nap... lol... Started the day at 7am colouring in before breakfast. Went out for a walk and scooter around Gorbals New Park. Back home for elevenses, and a custard cream (Shhhh! don't tell mum and dad) Watched some Peppa Pig, and more colouring in. Prepared and served lunch. My wee darling's drinking bottle got knocked over and broke, clean up mess, out again over to Gorbals shopping Retail Park to buy a new one. Walk back and chalk some 'Hopscotch' squares on the grounds of the Park... Play for half hour... Rain is threatening! When we get back take coat, boots and whatever off, look out window and sun comes out... Lol... Wants to play granny at indoor basket ball (why did I buy that)! lol... Gets annoyed when granny scores... She has to win everything... lol... Got her to colour in some pictures herself while granny has a cuppa...! Play more games before preparing her dinner... Eats up everything, wash up dishes, wait for dad to come pick her up at 6.30pm... Phew! She was as good as gold the whole day... It's just so full on... lol... Daddy arrives asks how good she was... Wave bye bye to them both... Love my little sweetheart... But dying for a wee nap now... This will be a regular 2 days a week in the next few weeks with this 4 year old and a 1 year old as my daughter in law goes back to full time work, as her maternity leave ends... I better get better prepared! Now... And Relax.... :D
