More light than dark

The spring equinox should be a day of music and dancing in the streets, but a magnolia is a pretty good substitute.

I celebrated by telling my colleagues that I will be retiring on 6 June - so now I can tell you too. It's not quite so far off as it sounds as I'll be on leave for four weeks of the time between now and then. 

It's my third retirement and this time I mean it. I have absolutely no intention of volunteering in any of the voluntary organisations I've been working in for the last 28 years, nor any others.
