The Joy of Creativity
It has been quite windy but sunny all day. We had a leisurely breakfast and made plans to go town as soon as my sister completed her current project. She and our BIL love to find treasures at yard sales and estate sales. Not sure where she found these Terra Cotta colored planters but the first thing she did was make them her own. She painted them a brick color but tired of it quickly. This time she’s chosen the Verdi Gris look. I think they will enhance her garden area especially filled with colorful flowers. Her happy place is anywhere she can apply paint. I read and prayed while she was painting. We went to our favorite restaurant in WV. Everything is homemade and delicious. From there, the men dropped us at the grocery while they visited an outdoor equipment store. We headed back home very contented. We’ll have a quiet evening. Hope yours is as well. No news from River so we assume he is still recovering. Stay safe. Thanks for stopping by. I was able to read a few journals before our service degraded in the wind. “The only way to do great work is to love what you do.” – Steve Jobs
