What a great evening at the closing event of the Shareholders season. We worked hard to fill the place which hasn't happened for a number of years. Everyone seemed to enjoy a good evening of curling, food and friendship. The final of the Crookedstone trophy took place while the rest of us played a bonspiel around them. I was so delighted that himself was in the winning team and will get his name on this trophy. 

While the skip of the bonspiel winning rink said 'a skip is no good without a team' we proved that a team is no good without a skip after ours failed to show tonight. On a positive note, we did get a booby prize.
